Foreign visitors may fly in Bali, but only under Indonesia's national drone regulations plus the island's own rules. In practice that means registering the drone, staying below 120 m AGL, respecting the no-fly zones, and holding a permit for any commercial shoot or any flight near a temple, an airport or a national park.

Anything monetised counts as commercial — including influencer travel content shot on a compact drone. Drones over 2 kg trigger DGCA registration and a separate flight permit for every operation.
